Newsletter Archives Blueprint to Self Empowerment
Several years ago I was invited to an exclusive women’s group to share my knowledge about empowerment. Initially I was in a quandary as to how I could communicate any substantial or momentous coaching with these already successful women.
I asked Source for guidance; I received channeled lessons late at night. While getting the message I repeatedly typed the word employment instead of empowerment; as I’d stop, correct, and catch up with the message.
At that moment They said: “As you are typing you are tending to type empowerment incorrectly as employment. That is the leading thought regarding empowerment. Employing - employing yourself, employing your capabilities, your dreams, your visions, your desires, your life’s path. It is choosing what your vision is, your passion, then employing all that is You towards the manifestation of that vision.”
Now that’s empowerment, from Divine perspective!
“If I am not for myself, then who will be for me?
And if I am only for myself, then what am I?
And if not now, when?” ---Hillel
The above quote by the ancient Jewish scholar and teacher gave me my inspiration. As we take a stand for our potential dreams and visions, something that we want, we are creating a vision. We become willing to take a risk for that something. We block challenges to identify a vision of greatness because it forces us to eliminate caution. This vision of greatness makes us accountable for acting in congruence with it. When we are driven by this vision of our choice, we are then required to take the responsibility. We can’t shrink from disappointment and failure.
The first step in choosing empowerment is our own leadership to achieve our vision; it is solely up to us. If we are unwilling to choose a vision of greatness, we are really saying we are willing to stand on our laurels. The added benefit of having a vision is that we have given meaning to what we are doing.
Once we have a clear vision, action is the next step. The Universal Law of Action says that acting or an act of movement creates more movement. In other words, as we act, the momentum of that action creates more. So it does make sense that our clear vision, coupled with action, generates empowerment that creates manifestation of your desires.
There was a time when I was afraid and fearful of ordering business cards to proclaim what I do and therefore who I am. Honestly, I must admit that I worried over what people would think, how they’d react, or what they’d say to me. With the encouragement of my husband and close friends, I took the first step towards my vision.
My cards clearly state who I am, that I am a healer, teacher, channel and author. Now that’s empowering - big time. Each time I hand my business card to someone I am reaffirming my personal power.
Another aspect of learning is to embrace your empowerment by way of the Art of Allowing. “Allowing what you are to be, is the greatest manifestation of life on earth that there is. It is the ’Supreme Being-ness.’ It is what you came here for. It is what we are all hoping that you will experience for and with Us. For when you are allowing and empowered, you are the truly leading edge of creativity. That is what keeps the Universe expanding, keeping life and All-That-Is in forward movement.”
So now we’re gathering anticipation, eagerness and expectancy to realize our vision. As the builds, our self-improvement brings us higher self-esteem. Little by little this journey becomes easier, as we move forward with grace and ease. As we go with the flow of Source creation we feel wonderful. We let our canoe gently float down stream as the current gently and wisely aligns our journey. No paddles, no motor, no engine, not even a sail is needed.
Feeling this emotion in your Inner Space brings such peace and intensity. The joy you will feel within your entire being is more than you ever imagined. This empowerment builds within, growing and expanding each moment. Step by step you are remembering your magnificence and that anything is possible.
There’s one more lesson to this story. Remember that I was receiving this message in the middle of the night? As I sat at my laptop transcribing, a tiny movement caught the corner of my eye. A little mouse was running back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. She’d disappear around the corner, then dart back out again. And I chose to let her be, totally fascinated with her, not my usual reaction to a mouse in my house. She was scurrying around in my house. She was focused, doing, moving, creating….being. She was completely connected with her life source, doing innately whatever it is that mice must do.
And so it is with you. When you connect with your Life Source, that is when your choices empower you. “The burden of wasted potential is the biggest burden of all.”
Why not now? If not now, when? Why not you? If not you, who?
