The Law of Attraction brings to us what we think about. The Science of Deliberate Creation begins the aligning of us with what we attract. The Art of Allowing brings everything together for you. By deliberately applying the tools to allow your desires to manifest you become a powerful person. By understanding this law you will be better able to create intentionally, rather than by default.
One of the processes taught to us is that of “Segmental Intending.” This enables us to be more consciously aware of the way we feel, and from that we can choose, from the re-directing of our thoughts, more of what we desire. In the book Ask & It Is Given we are told “there is very little that you are actually living in this day that is a result of only what you are thinking in this day.” Thus, as you pause, segment by segment, and choose what you want in that time period, you are actually sending out thoughts of what you would like your future to be.
Here’s an example of Segmental Intending from a typical, average work-day:
Let’s say that you drive to work every morning. So as you walk out your door towards your car, you are beginning a new segment. You get in your car and fasten your seat belt. You think “I hope my car starts and that there’s enough gas to get me to work. I don‘t have time to stop to fill up.” You start your car, back out of your driveway, while thinking “I hope traffic is easy and that I don’t get stuck behind a slow poke or a school bus“. As you hit every red light, you think “If there’s a line at the latte shop, I’ll have to go with out my coffee. I really need it for this Monday mornings rush at work”. “I’m so tired, I really need a break today.”
Now let’s replay this segment using the Law of Attraction and the Art of Allowing. You’re in your vehicle at home, and as you fasten your seat belt you say, either aloud or silently: “I intend that my car starts and has plenty of gas to get me to work.”
You begin to back out of your driveway saying “I intend to arrive at work refreshed, and on time. I intend to purchase, effortlessly, my favorite latte drink this morning.” “I intend that my commute is safe, easy and smooth as I travel to my wonderful workplace.”
As you practice this segment allowance, you are actually pre-paving your future and your day. You are creating circumstances and events that are to your liking. We are reminded by Abraham and Esther Hicks “…all your creative power is in this moment.” In addition you are projecting, not only this moment, but also into your future.
As you flow throughout your day and the various segments, a momentary pause is all that’s necessary to reroute your thoughts. Whether it’s a meeting with a client, a telephone conference, an evaluation with your manager, your day will go much more smoothly using this simple process. With a clear idea of what we desire we become more in harmony with our Inner Being and our intentions become clearer to us.
We are, in every moment, actually experiencing two simultaneous journeys.
There is our action journey which is our individual reality of time and space, what has happened in our past, and what is happening now. Then there is our emotional journey which is our vibrational response. The emotional journey is by far the most important aspect and where our dominant focus should be. Otherwise we are creating by default, by our responses to conditions and circumstances.
So this week, let’s all practice and use the “Segmental Intending” process.
I was doing this last week in preparation for our study group. First thing in the morning I was really doing well; however as the day progressed and things became more intense and my energy waned, I fell short of my segment awareness. As I reviewed my day before bedtime I saw what had happened. The next day I did better, and the following day even more clarity came to me. So it does take some practice and focused awareness.
Every month as I ask for Divine Guidance in choosing topic and focus for our group, I am reminded to share the processes and the teachings of the Universal Laws. At times I ask if perhaps there’s something new to share. The response is that many of us read, study the educational aspect of knowledge; how many of us put it into practice in our lives. We have been given these wonderful, amazing, easy and fun tools to receive more of what we desire, so let’s use them!
I wish each of you a happy, blessed, healthy, peaceful and abundant week.
