Do you know it is natural for your body to be well? We were born in a state of balance and health and our body always tends toward balance and health. This is called the Law of Homeostasis. Your body knows what to do innately when it is not well. Well-Being is a natural state to you.
Your Inner Being is infinitely aware of your physical body. When you are not feeling well it is best to listen to what your intuition, Inner Being is telling you. If you will listen closely you will hear what it needs. When you get a cold or the flu, what do you feel like doing? Most of the time it’s going to bed, staying warm, sleeping, resting, drinking warming fluids and teas, sleeping, eating soup and sleeping some more. When you are in your sleep state is when the body is in healing brain wave level. That’s why ill people sleep a lot.
You have trillions of cells with individual Consciousness, and they know how to achieve their distinctive, unique balance. Every organ and cell in your body knows how to function at optimal health. Even if you don’t know what to do in order to get better, your body does. Your cells ask for what they need in order to flourish, and your Source Energy answers those requests.
Often, when you first got sick, perhaps you didn’t know what you know now, whether it‘s about your general health issues or a specific ‘bug‘ you came down with. Many times we blame ourselves for getting a certain condition. We spend time and energy wondering how we got it, why we are ill and what we can do. And yet, we don’t need to understand the cause of an illness, nor should you feel you have to explain about it.
To return to optimum health, you have only to gently, in due course, release the illness. Remember, it doesn’t matter that it got started, because it’s reversing its course right now. Tell yourself: “It’s natural that it would take some time for my body to begin to align to my improved thoughts of Well-Being. There’s no hurry about any of this.” Any anxious feelings about the time it may take to be well only hinder the healing process, using up more energy.
As you are listening to your body’s message, silently say to yourself:
“I AM’ in very good hands. ‘I AM’ relaxing now, allowing transmission between my body and my Source.”
Your only work is to relax and breathe. When you are feeling pain, remember to relax, rest and breathe. As you do this, the tension in your muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons loosens. This allows a greater flow of healing oxygen to exchange with each cell. As you are able to drift off to sleep, smile softly, know that All-Is-Well. Breathe and relax - and trust.
