Soaring Eagle Woman, I

“I am Soaring Eagle Woman. I come from the great beyond where all begins.

I am forever. I have always been. I am ancient warrior woman, shaman, medicine woman, sage, mother, grandmother. I have messages for humanity.

That you have all been always. No one is new and no one is young. No one is old. We are all forever. All that has been invented or discovered has always been here. Our ancient times were times of great wisdom and knowledge. We knew Mother Earth, Father Sun, Grandfather Moon and Grandmother Wind. All the animals were our friends. Even when we borrowed from them for clothing, shelter and food, they were our friends. They gladly shared what they had with us. And we shared with them also. We honored them and only borrowed what we had to have. The forests, rivers, streams, grasses, and all green were the same. We honored every part of creation; it honored us. And so we lived in balance with All. I come to you to tell you of this so that you may share and once again be One with All. Even in your so-called ‘modern’ times you can be as you have been before.

When we revere, respect and love all of God’s creations we are loved, respected and revered by all of creation. I would go and gather roots, herbs, nuts, berries. I would thank the bushes, trees, tubers and the dirt for their blessings. I would thank the streams for nurturing the fish. Each animal totem was revered at the time of gathering; respect was given to each living thing. Honor and appreciation was given for every sacrifice made.

When a new life came to our village we celebrated. And when a member was transitioning we celebrated. No one ever left. They were always with us.

I am soaring above the earth, among the clouds. As I look down I see much that saddens me. I see the 2 legged desecrating earth, polluting the waters, killing the animals, destroying the forests. As you hear my screech it is piercing to your ears. That is so that you will listen to me. Hear when I tell you to stop. Hear me when I say begin to honor your brothers and sisters. Respect all creation.

Look up into the sky. See that speck soaring among the clouds? That is me. I am come to guide you, protect you and love you. As you look up at me, with the sparkle of the sun on my wings, know that I am always here with you. I am in every thing that is. There is no place that I am not. I have much to share with you. You have much to learn.
